Prayer
Prayer is a constant conversation with God the Father designed to develop and strengthen our abiding intimacy with Him and conform us into the image of His Son Jesus Christ. There are many ways through Towers that you can connect in prayer.
Personal Prayer
Scripture says to “pray without ceasing.” As a follower of Jesus Christ you are called to daily pray and be in constant communion with the Father. This is your time alone with the Father to open His Word and converse personally with Him. Take this time to talk to Him, but also carve out time to listen to Him.

Prayer Discipleship
There is a command from Jesus to make disciples. A very simple way to begin to do this is to pray with someone. This is something you are encouraged to do with 1-2 other people on a daily or weekly basis. This is modeled every Sunday morning at 10am in the church building before our 11am worship gathering. There is no agenda to this prayer gathering. We pray together as we feel led by the Holy Spirit to pray. It is called prayer discipleship because we are learning from our diverse group how to pray. What would happen if everyone committed to praying with at least one other person daily? This can be done face to face or by FaceTime. It can be done across the table or by text message. It can be done by email or a phone call. It can be done
Corporate Prayer
Probably the most important part of our weekly worship gatherings is a time for us as a church to pray together. We pray through a selected passage of scripture and with a guide that is provided in our weekly worship listening guide. It gives you time to be silent and reflect upon the truths from the scripture. We take 6-8 minutes weekly to pause and worship through prayer.
Zoom Prayer
This is a time for our church body to join online once a month to pray specifically for the needs of the church. You can send in your prayer requests by visiting the prayer section of our website or emailing prayer@towersbaptistchurch.org.
Join our Zoom Prayer Gathering. It takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7:30pm-8:30pm.
